What makes SWAP different |

SWAP is a non profit organisation operated by you, the residents and business owners. SWAP is steered by a small group of concerned residents who are committed to combating crime in our area and to making it safe. SWAP is not a security company. It is not an armed response solution. SWAP is about Safety, Wellbeing, Awareness and Protection.
SWAP GOING FORWARD
For SWAP to succeed, it needs the active support and participation of all home and business owners in Savoy and Waverley. If we are successful in implementing SWAP, our area can be registered as a City Improvement District (CID), in which case the costs will be borne by all ratepayers in the area as part their monthly rates. To get a CID approved, we will require 51% of ratepayers in the area to vote in favour. Until then, SWAP can be run only on donor funds. Our ability to implement the solution is dependent on our ability to raise the required funding.
